Safety is the foundation behind every successful project. At DAK, our number one priority is the safety of our team. We go through extensive measures to ensure that all team members are highly educated on safe work practices and the procedures to prevent injury, occupational hazards, and occupational disease. Before we begin a project, our team collectively identifies the potential hazards that may arise on-site and evaluate various methods to avoid or minimize these hazards while completing the job. On each site, we have designated safety leaders to uphold the safety standards we have set at the company.

 

“Speak Up” Initiative

At DAK, we have launched our “Speak Up” initiative that encourages employees to bring attention to any situations where they personally may feel unsafe or if they feel workplace practices can potentially be unsafe to themselves or other workers. By providing an open floor policy within the company, we have seen tremendous strides and actions taken by our team members that demonstrate their commitment to the safety of themselves and the team.
